Body Sushi
A note on development
Body Sushi is playable right now, but it's still in an early, embryonic stage — think of this release as a solid proof of concept rather than the finished vision.
If you enjoy it and want to help it grow, donations go straight into development. Here's what I'm working toward:
- New character models — a different character for every level, not just one repeated figure.
- New animations — more variety and personality in how characters react and move.
- New gameplay mechanics — beyond the current plating-against-the-clock loop.
- A story — actual narrative context tying the levels together.
- Multiplayer — compete or play together, not just solo runs against the leaderboard.
Every bit of support helps get there faster. Thanks for playing!
Body Sushi is a fast, physics-based plating puzzle with an unconventional canvas: a human body.
Drag, rotate and place every piece of sushi on the torso and legs before the clock hits zero. Face, neck, arms, feet and towels are off-limits — place a piece there and it turns red, telling you to move it.
How to play
- Drag and drop to move sushi, small bowls, chopsticks and decorations.
- Left/Right arrows rotate on the Y axis (45° steps), Up/Down rotate on X.
- Page Up / Page Down raise or lower a piece.
- Drag the background to rotate the camera.
Scoring
Every valid placement is worth 1 point. Get 5 points instead if a piece sits close to another one (within 9 cm) with matching orientation, or if it's placed on the chest. Only the best value per piece counts — bonuses don't stack.
You have 99 seconds per level. Run out of time, or let a piece fall off the body onto the table, and it's game over. Decorations are optional but score-friendly.
Climb the online Top 10 leaderboard and see how your plating skills stack up.
